Carmel College hosts "Aura
2011"
The
student’s council of Carmel College
for Women hosted one of its first
major cultural inter collegiate
events ‘Aura 2011’ at Ravindra
Bhavan on the 20th & 21st
of January 2011 . The programme
began with a lavish inaugural and a
stunning dance performance by the
hosting college. Over the next two
days invitee colleges from all over
Goa were given a chance to showcase
their talents and compete for the
coveted ‘Aura 2011’ trophy. The
event also attracted a large crowd
of enthusiastic spectators. After
two days of gruelling competition
every college walked away a winner
in some event or the other. M.E.S
College , Vasco were declared the
overall champions of ‘Aura 2011’.
